Folk and Bluegrass legend Tim O'Brien returns to the Paradise Theater for an unforgettable, intimate, solo performance. Native to West Virginia, Tim called Colorado home for years, where he founded Hot Rize, which remains one of the premier bluegrass acts in the world. In 2005 Tim was awarded a Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album, and he headlines just about every major bluegrass and folk festival across the country including Telluride Bluegrass, Rockygrass, MerleFest, GreyFox and more. His songwriting is stellar, and has been covered by the likes of Nickel Creek, The Dixie Chicks, and Garth Brooks among many others. He's also known for the many duet performances and recordings with his sister, Mollie O'Brien. Tim has been invited to sit in on countless recordings as a guest, has released 17 CDs of his own, and may be best known as one of the finest multi-instrumentalists in the business.
