Jan 20: Tom Teasley plays the world
We're THRILLED that the wondrous percussionist Tom Teasley will kick off our 2018 series. Doors open at 6:30 for a vegetarian feast (a gift from your host), and music starts at 7:30. The Casa is a private home: leave your shoes at the door but you may BYOB inside! Tickets are $25, limited, and likely to sell out in advance. 100% of sales goes to the artist.
Tom Teasley is an incomparable world percussionist, cultural envoy and sound designer who has collaborated with master musicians form the Middle East, Asia, South America and Europe. Teasley combines instruments of ancient origin with electronic technology creating a timeless music without borders. He has won three Helen Hayes Awards, 2016 Drummie Award World Percussionist of the Year and multiple WAMA awards. .
