Cruz Control consisting of Vince Tuzzi (guitar/vocals and ukulele), Stan Parola (guitar/vocals/and ukulele/harmonica) and Gary (SweetPea) Cunningham on standup/electric bass/ukulele and vocals. They have evolved into one of the most sought after bands in Santa Cruz County. A big part of the band's popularity stems from the fact that they play a diverse genre of music from John Prine to Neil Young, Guy Clark, Willie Nelson, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, The Beatles, and The Eagles. Apart from the fact that each band member is an accomplished musician, they also have a unique vocal blend which lends itself different kinds of music. Each member in the band has their own distinct following. Vince Tuzzi is a well-known solo artist, Gary Cunningham plays with Swirly Girls and Still Searchin' while Stan Parola also plays with Danceland & The Island Breeze Band.
Patti Maxine is simply one of our nations finest lap steel guitar players. She will be playing with Cruz Control.
