Kwesi:
Kwesi is an eclectic musician. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Kankam (who is of Ghanaian descent) moved to Toledo, Ohio where he was raised. Kankam received a football scholarship to Lehigh University, but his love of music eventually got behind the tacklers and sacked him (hooray for awful football analogies!)
Lizzie No:
Lizzie No has been singing all her life. She studied literature and poetry at Stanford University and then traveled the country with a folk band. Her accumulated stories of lonely hotel rooms, minimum wage jobs, relationships good and bad, crippling depression, and stubborn insistence upon steering her own ship, are presented on her debut solo album, Hard Won.
Emily Drinker:
Blending folk, soul, and pop all with a ukulele and small backing band, Emily Drinker is quickly on the rise. Born and bred in Philadelphia, PA, Emily's unique touch of soulful 3 part harmonies through looping is gaining long lasting attention at every venue she plays.
