Zohar Lavie
Cultivating Care and Wisdom
The Buddhas teaching includes all aspects of human life. In this day retreat we will explore how to apply these teachings of compassion to our engagement and our relationships, looking particularly at our caring roles.
How can Dharma practice resource us as we act in the world, and how can the care we share with others nourish our Dharma practice?
The day will be held in silence and will include periods of inquiry, dialogue and reflection into how our active engagement with the world is supported by inner work and contemplation and vice versa.
The day retreat is open to anyone interested in exploring these themes, whether as carers ( in your personal or professional lives), as activists, or as individuals wishing to live a more fully engaged life.
Zohar Lavie Zohar has been practicing meditation since 1995. This journey has taken her from the meditation cushion into exploring further ways of expressing truth and love and in 2004 she co-founded SanghaSeva. She now spends most of her time facilitating retreats that offer service as a spiritual path around the world. Since 2006 she has been teaching on silent retreats and Dharma gatherings in the Insight meditation tradition in India, Europe and Israel.
