Finding Jane , A Journey with Mrs PuginRoyal Temple Yacht Club, Ramsgate

Ramsgate poet, Sarah Tait celebrates Jane Pugins journey from impoverished widow and single mother-of-eight to her last years at St Augustines when she was known locally as The Grand Old Lady of Ramsgate. This poetry workshop will give an insight into Jane Pugins life, her rich contribution to Ramsgates heritage, and her possible connections with other Ramsgate women of the time. (Workshop participants will have the opportunity to read their words at Sarahs later reading should they wish to do so.)
Workshop 2pm - 3.30pm. Tickets: £7.50

The reading is open to all. 4pm - 5pm FREE
