Victoria Park Singers - Spring Term 2018

This is payment for the Spring Term 2017 for Victoria Park Singers. Rehearsals will be every Wednesday at Lauriston School (7.00pm-8.45pm) from January 10th. There is no rehearsal at half term on Wednesday 14th February due to half term.

Our spring repertoire is themed around new favourites and choral classics including the gorgeous Baba Yetu, Shed a Little Light, To the Mothers in Brazil and more!

We will be performing with the Suzuki Hub at our Spring Concert, which will be at St John of Jerusalem on Wednesday 21st March (TBC). Other performances may be scheduled.

Please buy a ticket for the section you sing in; soprano is higher female, and alto is lower female. Tenor is higher male and bass is lower male - if you are unsure don't worry, we can help you at your first rehearsal - just select either if you don't know.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1) There are no refunds on membership fees.

2) Singers should be able to commit to attending 70% or more of rehearsals in order to perform in the end of term concerts and are asked to sign the register at rehearsals each week.

3) We normally perform without music. Singers are asked to put in the appropriate amount of time outside of rehearsals to memorise words and learn your parts. There is usually a little bit of homework each week to revise a couple of songs to ensure we are making progress at each rehearsal. MP3s of parts are supplied to help with learning.

4) Some of our performances (particularly outdoors/Christmas carols) involve singing our 'rolling rep' (choir favourites) in addition to the current terms set pieces. Singers are required to ensure they read the weekly newsletter and communicate with us regarding any additional resources or learning.
