BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
Its human nature that people make mistakes and as an industry weve accepted that. In todays world where every incident shines a negative light on our industry the question is, "can human error be prevented?" In this presentation we'll discuss the filthy fifteen human factors that cause incidents and accidents in the workplace while also introducing error management strategies to help eliminate errors from taking place.
SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:
Michael Fry is the President and CEO of Deepwater Subsea, a company that specializes in subsea operational excellence, compliance verification, and competency development training. Michael joined the industry in 1998 after a 10-year career in the US Navy where he worked on nuclear submarines. During his oil and gas career hes held various leadership roles ranging from Technical Superintendent, Corporate Subsea SME, Subsea Manager, and now President and CEO of Deepwater Subsea.
