MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES with Susie Pepper and Kelly Muse

Vocalist Susie Pepper accompanied by teaching artist, musical director, and accomplished pianist Kelly Muse for jazz standards, pop interpretations and film favorites for a concert MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES. This multi-talented duo will draw inspiration from classic films, along with contemporary movies, to design an evening of enchanting music from the movies to fill the theatre.

Susie won FOX 23s Maine American Idol competition in 2008 and used her tremendous vocal talents as Miss Maine 2009. In both December 2014 and 2017 she was a featured soloist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra for their MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS series, as well as, performing last summer at their Fourth of July POPS concert.

At Deertrees Susie has also taken center stage at for several special events including last summers CLASSIC ROCK concert plus MIXOLOGY and PIANO MEN: THE MUSIC OF ELTON AND BILLY.

Hailing from Portland, Maine, Pianist Kelly Muse is involved in a wide variety of musical projects and events throughout New England. From Big Band to rock, weddings to musicals, to performing with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Kelly has been involved with almost any music project conceivable.

Currently Muse is music director at HopeGateWay Church in Portland, bandleader and music director for the popular wedding/function band MIXOLOGY, plus teaches numerous private lesson music students.
