Lexus Velodrome Championship Games Bike Races

Racing on fixed gear bicycles with no brakes at crazy-fast speeds, the racers competing during the Championship Games Weekend feature our own Motown Motors, locally developed and riding hard to win paired up and against nationally-ranked racers from across the continent. The Championship Games focus on the Games of bicycling, as played on the Lexus Velodrome -- including the incredible Madison, the Elimination, the Keirin, Match Sprints, Scratch Races and more. Racers are competing for $5000 in prizes so you know the vibe is intense. Bike racing at the Lexus Velodrome marks the return of indoor bike racing to the D. View the race action from intimate infield suites or look down on it all from the velodrome's sky walkway. There's not a bad view in the house.
