Whidbey Island Vintners Savor Spring Wine Tour 2013
The Whidbey Island Vintners Association will host it's annual Savor Spring Food & Wine Tour on Whidbey Island. For a true Taste of Whidbey Island, this celebration of fine hand crafted wine and food will feature wine tasting and samples of local food from a special food grower/producer at each venue you visit.
The event will take place on May 11th and 12th from 11 am to 5 pm each day. The cost for a ticket is $20.00 per person in advance and $25.00 on the days of the event, and will include the map to the tasting rooms, samples of food and wines featured at each stop, and a souvenir wine glass from Whidbey Island Vintners Association.
Many of the wineries will be featuring their new spring releases, including some made from locally grown grapes. These award winning and locally crafted wines pair well with the Island grown and produced foods that are also offered, and have included treats such as goat cheese, fresh baked breads, locally harvested seafood, vegetables and locally grown beef, creating a true taste of Whidbey Island!
