Get your glitter on and your heels high for STARMEN, a glam rock variety show featuring burlesque, circus arts, and cabaret at Tabu in Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018.
Hoops and Grenades invites you to this sparkly celebration of the music genre that exploded around David Bowie in the 1970s. Come prepared to get your Ziggy Stardust on as we groove to the music of Bowie, Placebo, Queen, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and more! If its got big hair, major sequins, and lots of attitude, weve got it for you at this show dedicated to not only David Bowie, but also the music, artists, and media inspired by our favorite Starman and showcasing all things glam!

About The Producers
LITTLE MISS ROLLERHOOPS
Little Miss Rollerhoops is a Philadelphia based performer and producer. Shes been performing since she was 3 where her first coperformer was a giant purple dinosaur (seriously). A trained circus performer for nearly 2 decades, she entered the world of burlesque in 2006 as an original member of The White Elephant Burlesque Society. Since then she's taken her various skills and combined them together to create some ridiculous, unique and nonsensical performances, and in the process gained John Stamos as her biggest fan. When not performing she can be found bowling, baking like a mad woman, hanging out with elephants, and running all over the country in combat boots and tutus. Shes got skills, theyre multiplyin!
GRETA GRENADE
Greta Grenade will steal your heart, captivate your mind, and explode your senses! She is an award-winning nerdlesque and neo-burlesque performer, producer, emcee, and cosplayer based in Philadelphia, PA by way of Hollywood, CA. She took home the crown for Philadelphias Burlesque Battle Royale season 6 after being named WOWedictorian for best overall act three times! Along with her troupe, Victory Variety Hour, she won the Bronze Medal at the 2013 Los Angeles Burlypicks, and the Best Troupe award at the 2013 Hollywood Burlesque Festival. Some of her other notable festival appearances include the 2017 Oregon Burlesque Festival, the 2015 Hollywood Burlesque Festival, 2014 Nerdlesque Festival in New York, and the 2014 Arizona Burlesque Festival. She studied under Penny Starr Jr. with All-Starr Burlesque Classes and Lili VonSchtupp with Lilis School for Wayward Girls. She is a currently the co-producer for Saintly Bomb Productions, best known for producing the Star Trek themed burlesque show, Treklesque.
