Danny Newcomb & The Sugarmakers 7" Vinyl Single Release, Vashon Island
January 19th - 8pm sharp location: Home Sweet Home (BAR) - Vashon Standing Room Only, there will be no seating.
Danny Newcomb, longtime guitarist and songwriter, will be having a single release show at the bar Home Sweet Home on Vashon Island with his loud band, the Sugarmakers, on January 19th at 8pm sharp.
Danny who is not old Island, but is not new Island either, is releasing the vinyl single on Mike McCready's Hockeytalkter label that night, following up his second full-length record "All the Way" that arrived in December and was distributed nationally through Think Indie Distribution. Martin Feveyear mixed the single and Jason Staczek contributed piano to the record. Rick Friel plays lead bass for the band and Faith Stankevicious is drumming.
The Seattle Times says the new record "is crammed with the same brilliant hooks and harmonies that made their debut record, Masterwish, such a treat." $10 ticket includes 7" Vinyl Single "King of Nothing" and entry into the show. There will be copies of the full-length record available for purchase as well. Show starts at 8pm.
