Mirrorlands
Mirrorlands is a Minneapolis based band consisting of Jacqueline Ultan on Cello, Tim O'Keefe on percussion, oud, and duduk, Saeed Hashemi on Setar, and Aida Shahghasemi as a vocalist. They explore the intersection of Persian traditional music and contemporary interpretations of it. The group also explores the individuals' works of each of the members as they bring their own compositions, interpretations, and understandings of the world around them.
