Nonprofit Bylaws Workshop
This workshop is intended for nonprofit staff and board members to understand the purpose and use of nonprofit organizational bylaws. Participants will learn what the key components of nonprofit organizational bylaws are and how to individualize template bylaws for your own organization. This is an excellent workshop for organizations who want to become a nonprofitand for existing nonprofit organizations who need to revise their bylaws.
Nonprofit Attorney Judith Andrews will teach this workshop. Judy's practice focuses on representation of nonprofit organizations. An experienced public speaker, Judy has given presentations on a variety of municipal finance and nonprofit topics to the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Municipal Treasurers Association, the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys, the Nonprofit Assistance Center, and the Seattle University Law School, where she also teaches the nonprofit organizations clinic. Judy's extensive board experience includes being one of the founding board members, and first Board President, of WAACO.
