Lyra Music Youth Competition 2018
Join us for the Live Final Round of the Seventh Annual Lyra Music Youth Competition! A Classical Music Competition for string players and pianists in two divisions: Junior Level (ages 11-14) and Senior Level (ages 15-18).

In this Live Final Round all musicians will perform two classical music selections at the DiMenna Center in New York City. The jury will consist of three distinguished musicians: Alex Fortes, violin, Adam Golka, piano, and Julia Yang, cello. Learn more about the jurists: www.lyramusic.org/2018-competition-judges/. There will be a live audience vote taken in person and online at this Final Round. The audience vote will count as one of four jury votes!
Finalists will compete for cash prizes and scholarships to Lyra Music Workshop 2018, an intensive, non-competitive, conservatory-style summer music program in residence at Smith College, Northampton, MA in July.
All winners for both divisions will be announced live at this event!
