Symphony Serenade Presents Here, There and Everywhere
Join the Symphony Serenade crew as they traverse America to find their favorite kinds of music. It's a long trip, and they'll need to utilize multiple forms of transportation to get where they need to go. But wait- everyone wants to go to a different place- and hear a different kind of music- Chadd wants to be a cowboy, and sing to the cattle herd- Michael loves Ragtime and wants to go to St. Louis- the birth place of Scott Joplin, and Stacey will not rest until she's sung some soulful blues in Memphis. Poor Miss Allison has to balance their wants, and get them where they need to go- all the while hoping to get to New Orleans for some rollicking jazz. And just when she thinks everyone has gotten what they wanted and we can head home, the Story Fairy shows up to demand a classic American Story about a dog...
This is Family Musical Theatre at it's best. You'll sing along, bounce your little ones on your knee, clap the steady beat, tap your toes and snap your fingers as the Symphony Serenade team leads you in an interactive show perfect for young children and their families. And we promise you'll all learn something, too. Not just about the musical forms of America, but about your child and how they are developing and how music can unlock their growth. Who knew learning could be so much fun- and full of so many laughs and giggles and tickles!
