Jazz at the RAC with Brandon Willis and Lance Randall and The Nu Jazz Playas
Brandon Willis is a dynamic 25 year old saxophonist that brings a soulful sound and charismatic persona to the northwest jazz scene. Brandon has open for Grammy nominated saxophonist Gerald Albright & Grammy winning guitarist Norman Brown at Seattle University which he considers this performance one of his most inspired to date. Brandon signed with M1 Records in late 2016 and released his eagerly anticipated debut album titled First Time in March 2017 with live performances and a national radio tour. The project was developed with the likes of pianist/arranger Eugene Bien, Kenny Gs touring guitarist John Raymond, and keyboardist Donyea Goodman. His performance and artistry is set to make a big IMPACT in the jazz genre with his fresh and energetic talent.
Lance Randall and The Nu Jazz Plays are a contemporary jazz group whose performances consist of a combination of sexy, smooth and funky jazz. The group has performed at festivals and venues around the Puget Sound region such as: the Bite of Seattle, Festival Sundiata, Taste of Tacoma, Rock and Roll Marathon, Choochokam Arts Festival, Seattle Museum of Flight, Jackson Street Music Festival, Smooth Jazz Rendezvous on Lake Union, The Green Dolphin Lounge, Willie's Taste of Soul and Urban Enoteca.
