Catch internationally acclaimed cellist and composer Ian Maksin in his hometown between international tours! Backed by one of Chicago's finest guitarists Matt Berger, Maksin will perform a set ranging from J.S. Bach to John Coltrane and from Duke Ellington to Tom Jobim. For the later set, they will perform an eclectic and electrifying array of blues and rock covers, Slavic and Balkan folk songs and originals!
