Full Spectrum: Sassmouth and DP Cortez (Ghetto)
Come join us for the official opening for a new monthly, inclusive dance night being held in Dinkytown on the 2nd Thursday of the month. The inaugural event is $5 with RSVP or student id (or $10 at the door after 10 p.m.). The event is being held in the Red Room, at the Loring Bar and Restaurant (formerly Loring Pasta Bar). Baroque and intimate, executive and elegant, the Red Room is the Loring's most popular location. The Red Room also features a newly enhanced outdoor patio for smokers.
We are pleased to have our dear friend Sassmouth (NBFC, Planet Chicago/SmartBar) as the headliner for our inaugural party. Sass is no stranger to Minneapolis! This will be her fifth appearance and she has developed a cult following. Sassmouth is also label boss of the God Particle label and will deliver a varied set of house and techno which is guaranteed to make you dance! Joining her will be Minneapolis favorite, DP Cortez aka Ghetto. They met the last time she played Minneapolis and resulted in DP being booked at SmartBar in Chicago. If you stay long enough, you may even get to hear them play together!
