The Music Of Rodgers and Hart starring Jennifer Hart at Arthur Newman Theater
Jennifer has appeared as guest vocal soloist with the Cypress Pops Orchestra and the Capistrano Valley Symphony, and became the featured vocalist with the Frank Amoss Orchestra, Arlene and the Guys Big Band, and Slide FX Band,. She has been featured in one-woman shows, performed with her niece, opera singer Laurinda Nikkel, in the Nikkel-Hart Revue, and has been showcased in dinner shows as a singer-pianist. She also performs inspirational material in New Thought churches throughout Southern California on most Sundays and special occasions. Recently with Hart & Soul, she has collaborated with pianist-arranger-composer Llew Matthews, having a very successful show at the Orange County Pavilion that is now available on CD and DVD. "I love to sing songs that have upbeat messages and tell stories, and songs that the audience will appreciate, and that certainly fits the music of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart." Ms. Harts pianist for this show is Peggy Duquesnel, who is a very accomplished musician and performer herself, with more than 9 CDs of her own, and featured on dozens of others with such notables as Pat Boone, Henry Mancini, and Dionne Warwick.
