Leave your winter doldrums behind and celebrate Groundhog's Day by crawling out of your hole and spending a night out with Honey Talk. Honey Talk has its base in Boston, but is playing in their bass player/song writer's neck-of-the-woods, as Steven Bunce returns home for the gig.
Labeling Honey Talk as a particular genre would be an injustice to their sound. When you think you've got them figured out they come at you with something different. One thing you will figure out soon enough is that these guys like to have fun! A factor that makes this band special is that all four band members sing and write.
You'll hear songs from their first album, "Honey Talk", including "I Can't Get Drunk Anymore", a lighthearted country-style look at some of life's struggles written by Bunce, and "Left Handed Letter" a tear-at-your-heart ballad by lead guitarist Cody Nilsen. Ben Blanchard, on keys sings "Hell No", a hard driving, fun song about a man who's had enough, written by drummer Pat "Daddy" Dalton.
Start the night out with a barbecue buffet from "When Pigs Fly", or if veggies are more your thing, SOUSWRIGHT will provide you with eats your tastebuds will thank you for!
This is a 21 and over event only. We are in a unique position to allow BYOB, however moderation will be the key to our success.
Make this night complete by taking advantage of the large dance floor The Center On Main provides. You can also go home this night knowing you helped a good cause: the non-profit Falls Village Children's Theater Company.
