True roots reggae music by some of Boston's most legendary players. King's Highway was formed over 15 years ago in Boston, driven by a passion for early Jamaican music that combined heavy jazz inspired horns, and deep Nyabingi percussion. The music comes from seminal artists such as Cedric Brooks, Count Ossie and the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari, the Skatalites, and others. Listeners will hear the true roots of reggae music, played by musicians who have deep personal connection to this music and its founders.
