the dark room: the darkness: fear, death, self hatred , self abuse, rape, sexual trauma, assault,suicide, loss heart break, yearning, regret, love, delete, failure, sadness, etc. all the emotions of pain and things that hold us back and keep us in a dark place. keeps us from moving on and letting go.
the mummy: is there to unravel all the darkness to our raw form, our true self.and we all have to get through the layers and she is there to do that for us all
the covered face : is so we all can identify with her as ourselves.
the umbilical cord: ( the fabric left attached ) is our past the darkness, the layers that make us what we are and will always be who we are or what made us. But it is not who we have become or are becoming.

The Unspoken Word:
What do these wacky people know about suicide?? Come and learn about some of the misnomers and misconceptions around this often unspoken word, through stories, dance, and ritual!! There will be a 10-15 minute talkback afterwards, come to watch, learn, and stay to discuss! You never know you might learn something about yourself or someone you care about! If suicide has touched your life and you want to bring a safe memento to put on an altar, please feel free to do so!!
