Cannabis as Herbal Medicine
Cannabis Herbal Medicine with Mitcho Thompson A benefit for the Sonoma County Herb Exchange Saturday January 27th 1 4 PM
Location TBD depending upon the number of participants.
In this three hour workshop, we will go over the various forms of cannabis medicine, and how to make them. This hands-on workshop will cover ingestibles, tinctures, liniments, and transdermal oils. Routes of ingestion, specific cannabinoids, and they ways in which cannabis works on various conditions will also be discussed. All proceeds go directly to the Herb Exchange.
Mitcho Thompson has been teaching cannabis as medicine for over a decade, including recently for the Emerald Cup, the California School of Herbal Studies, and all over the united States. He has developed several successful cannabis product lines for dispensaries in California. He is the current Vice President of the Sonoma County Herb Association. Mitcho is a founding board member for Peace in Medicine in Sonoma County. He is also the Chancellor Emeritus of Oaksterdam Universitys former North Bay Campus. Mitcho is also the Vice President of the Sonoma Chapter of Americans for Safe Access. He and his partner have a CCOF farm in South Sebastopol with a large garden where they teach workshops and help others learn to heal. He also illustrated the amazing book by Leslie Gardener on growing medicinal herbs Life in the Medicine.
