Construction Tour of Lido House Hotel
Presentation & Tour:
Sitting on the site of the former City Hall, Lido House is the old-new centerpiece of Newport Beach. Designed to blend in with the unique beach house style of the Newport Peninsula, Lido house faced unique challenges given recent Title 24 and Green Code changes. These changes, along with ADA accessibility are skillfully designed into this unique hotel concept.
Learning Objectives:
-Attendees will learn how California Sustainability codes (Green Codes) impact hotel design and construction
-Attendees will experience how ADA is incorporated into hotels
-Attendees will learn how recent Title 24 energy code changes impacted the design and construction
-Attendees will learn how local design aesthetics impacted the architecture of Lido House
