"Open Hearth Cooking: Beyond the Basics" class at Landis Valley
Students taking this class will make a selection of dishes using both the open hearth and the bake oven. Lunch will be provided in class. Please wear natural fibers.
This class is definitely for those who have taken an open hearth class before. If you have not had experience with open hearth cooking, we also offer the Introduction to Hearth Cooking class on February 3, 2018.
Dan Silfies is a living history interpreter at Landis Valley Museum who specializes in historic foodways and inkle weaving. He graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in History and a minor in Pennsylvania German Studies.
Cancellation policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor, therefore cancellations can only be refunded prior to the sales-end date.
