The Colgate Resolutions and Friends, A Cappella at the CCA
The Resolutions, or "Resos" as they like to be called, are students brought together by a common goal: to bring a cappella music to the Colgate community. The Resos are Colgate's oldest co-ed a cappella group and pride themselves on their diversity of talents, musical backgrounds, musical tastes, and personalities. The Reso repertoire includes everything from pop to electronic to indie to classic rock, and grows every semester as members craft original arrangements of their own personal favorites. They can perform a diverse array of songs from Alt-J, to Otis Redding, to Carole King, to the Rolling Stones. Each year, they travel across the Northeast on their JanTour and are so excited to be stopping in Chelmsford on their way.

THE CRESCENDOS - Established in 2016, The Crescendos are a select female a cappella group. Although they are still fairly new to the a cappella scene, they hit the ground running last year by taking part at the N.E. Voices festival and competing in the Salem Pitch Trials. This year they are competitors in the International Championship of High School A Cappella. The Crescendos are proud of their high level of student leadership, as all of their choreography and most of their arrangements are written by student members.

THE THURSDAYS - Established in 2014, The Thursdays are Chelmsford High School's co-ed a cappella group. In 2017 they traveled to New York City, representing the Northeast Region in the final round of the International Championship of High School A Cappella. They have performed numerous times at the N.E. Voices festival, earning a winning title in 2017. They have earned numerous awards for outstanding soloists, vocal percussion, and choreography. They recently appeared on season 3 of Sing That Thing! on WGBH. Their music has been featured on Acaville Radio, and their recordings can be found on SoundCloud.
