A Winter's Tale at Turnbull
We are pleased to announce our Winter Scenic City Supper Club - A Winter's Tale at Turnbull! We are honored to host Rob McDaniel, Executive Chef of Springhouse in Alexander City, Alabama. Chef McDaniel has been nominated as a James Beard Foundation Semi-Finalist for Best Chef: South for five consecutive years (2013-2017), and is known for creating menus inspired by Southern traditions and Alabama's seasons. His philosophy of respecting the land and using it as inspiration is highlighted through his dedication to simple recipes enhanced by flavorful ingredients.
The evening will take place on Sunday, January 21st at The Turnbull Building, a beautiful and newly renovated 1920s machine factory in West Chattanooga that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Supper Clubbers will begin the evening with a cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres before enjoying a four-course meal in the style of an elegant winter dinner - all paired with cocktails, wine, and beer. Chef McDaniel and Chef Niel will lead the collaborative menu with the help of Chef Eric Fulkerson (Bald Headed Bistro), Chef Bruce Weiss (River Street Deli), Chef Brennan McKay (Easy Bistro & Bar), Bartender Wes Black (The Fix Lounge), and Michael Rice (Mad Priest Coffee). Together, the group will create a curated menu for a group of 150 guests to enjoy.
