Advanced Chocolate Workshop at Landis Valley
Learn to make more complex candies, such as chocolate-covered cherries and feuillettes. You will also learn to temper chocolate - "from scratch!"
Class runs on both February 3, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and February 4, from Noon to 4:30. Possible allergens include peanuts and tree nuts.
This class builds on the knowledge learned from previous classes, but is open to those who have not taken "The Practical Chocolatier" previously. If you know how to temper chocolate and know the basics of how sugar crystals form, you should be able to take this class.
Only high quality milk and dark chocolate that meets Dr. Richmans exacting standards will be used (shell show you where to get it). Candies can be frozen to give as gifts throughout the year.
This is the most delicious chemistry class you'll ever take--one that involves very little math, too!
Cancellation policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor, therefore cancellations can only be refunded prior to the sales-end date.
