JANE Save the Chimps Benefit
This afternoon screening is a benefit for Save The Chimps of Ft. Pierce, FL. a home and refuge for over 200 chimpanzees.
Drawing from over 100 hours of never-before-seen footage that has been tucked away in the National Geographic archives for over 50 years, award-winning director Brett Morgen tells the story of JANE. A woman whose chimpanzee research challenged the male-dominated scientific consensus of her time, Dr. Goodall revolutionized our understanding of the natural world.
Prior to screening "JANE" we will show a short film about "Save the Chimps" narrated by Anjelica Huston.
Following the screening there will be a Question & Answer session with Save the Chimps Executive Director Molly Polidoroff who worked with Jane Goodall for a time in Africa..
