Mississippi Meanderings
Paddlers need to get together even if it is January and the water is hidden from the shore by a treacherous ice shelf. So, the Mississippi River Water Trail offers this opportunity to meet, talk river, eat tacos (cash bar), and listen to some incredible speakers. Non paddlers who like stories and tacos will want to come too!
Yo Wood and Carol Heddinghaus present their highly entertaining account of their recent source to sea trip down the Mississippi. Porsche Schlapper pioneers MRWTAs first ever history talk: what was happening on the Mississippi River Water Trail before there was an MRWT.
