Murder Mystery - Murder at the Chinese New Year
Moonstone Theatre presents another of their popular comedy murder mystery evenings in our Bistro.
Can you deduce whodunnit?
It is 1933 and the Chinese New Year is being celebrated. This year will be the year of the Rooster. However, a private collector of rare Chinese porcelain has been found dead in his study.
An extremely valuable Ming cup is also missing. It is known as the Chicken Cup due to its decoration of a cockerel and hen tending to their chicks, and was one of only 17 in the world.
Detective Chief Inspector Nayland-Smith of Scotland Yard has been called in because of his success in catching organised gangs in Londons China Town. Was the robbery and death the work of such a gang or was it a local crime?
Nayland-Smith calls together his suspects at Hannahs Bistro and he is determined to get to the truth before the night is out.
All the clues will be there to catch the killer but will they be correctly deduced?
The Bistro, Hannahs at Seale-Hayne. 7pm onwards. Ages 16+. £25 including 3-course supper. Booking essential.
