KGNU and CFCZs Annual Mardi Gras Dance Benefit Featuring Jesse Lége & Ed Poullard Band
KGNU Community Radio and Colorado Friends of Cajun-Zydeco Music and Dance (CFCZ) celebrate Mardi Gras with an evening of revelry, music and dancing with Jesse Lége & Ed Poullard Band on Saturday, February 3, 2018. A zydeco dance lesson starts at 7:00 P.M.; music at 8:00 P.M, and doors are at 6:30 P.M. The Avalon Ballroom dance floor will be vibrating and shaking with enthusiasm at this annual Mardi Gras event.
New this year is Voodoo Alley, a Louisiana style experience with a fortune teller, astrologist, face painter, and photographer to capture you in your cajun best!
Oskar Blues will provide delicious Cajun fare for purchase. Wine & beer will be available as will complimentary King Cake. In the spirit of Mardi Gras, there will be a costume contest with prizes. Its your time to shine and win the more outrageous the better!
