Ticket to Ride: A Musical Adventure
Join the Apollo Male Chorus for the trip of a lifetime as we travel to Germany, Italy, England, Western Africa, and make quick stops in Japan and Australia before returning to the land that we love. With a nod to the popular board game, Ticket to Ride, this concert promises a fun and light-hearted adventure that gives the audience a chance to help chart the course of our musical trip. With musical selections from near and far including Danny Boy, Funiculi-Funicula, They Call the Wind Maria, and America the Beautiful, as well as African American spirituals and works by Mozart and Schubert. Hop on board as we traverse the globe by plane, train, and automobile.
