Opening Celebration / KC Chorale- Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

Opening ceremony with choir and organ, followed by the KC Chorale in concert under the direction of Charles Bruffy. One admission for both events.
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Dr. Jan Kraybill, organ; Spire Chamber Ensemble; Festival Brass and Percussion; Sir James McMillan Commission: Everyone Sang; New Hymn Text by Susan Palo Cherwien; Dr. Matthew Naylor, President and CEO of the National WWI Museum and Memorial. There will be a 15-minute intermission before the Kansas City Chorale concert.
Grammy Award-winning Kansas City Chorale and organ; Forrest Pierce Commission; Ferko commission; Buses load 9:30-10:00 for return to hotels.
