A Christmas Carol - Twelfth Night
'I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year' - Scrooge
Celebrate Twelfth Night In Style!
Bring your Yuletide celebrations to a close with festive fare, and a joyful sung version of Dickens' classic tale with music by Ashley Thompson and words by Deborah McAndrew.
With words by Claybody's Deborah McAndrew and Music by Ashley Thompson of The Phoenix Singers, Leek. A Christmas Carol sees Dickens' classic tale retold through song without narration.
Ashley Thompson's music draws on a wide variety of styles some old, some new whilst also weaving well-loved carols that would have been known in Victorian England into the texture. The libretto, by award-winning playwright Deborah McAndrew, retains much of Dickens' original text.
