The ANZA Club is thrilled to present our New Years Eve Party with host Geoff Berner, Carolyn Mark and Her New Best Friends and Hank & Lily. Tickets $30 in advance and include complimentary champagne and pizza! Join us for a night of fantastic music and fun.

Geoff Berner has travelled the world many times around and has captivated audiences big and small at every step. Berner is mainly known as a practitioner of the klezmer-punk style, which combines the traditional folk music of Eastern European Jews with punks aggressive energy and disdain for slick perfection. Clever and literate, Berners songs can make you want to weep, laugh, grind your teeth, or kick out a window-often all at the same time.

Carolyn Mark is a legend of the Canadian music touring scene. Formidable, hilarious and ridiculously talented, Carolyn evokes a singing style reminiscent of the great Loretta Lynn. Marks talent is consistently reflected in the company she keeps, one of her first acts was the Corn Sisters, a duo with fellow crooner Neko Case. Once you have seen Mark play, you are a fan for life. Her love of music, laughter and red wine is purely infectious.

Hank & Lily are Hank Pine and Lily Fawn, two very special and innovative creatures whove used music and comics to create a hilarious soundtrack to modern life. Hank and Lily are both multi-instrumental songwriters who have been creating and recording music and touring the world together for over ten years. The band has musical roots in punk rock and an eclectic style that covers well... just about everything.
