Strolling of the Heifers to Transform River Garden Into Comedy Club - One Night Only!
Strolling of the Heifers presents Comedy Night at the River Garden on Saturday, January 13 at 8:00 p.m. With the help of seasoned stand-up comedians Eric Neumann and Marc Gerber, Brattleboros River Garden will transform into a New York Comedy Club. BYOB and laugh til the cows come home! This special night of comedy is a fundraiser for Strolling of the Heifers Farm-To-Table Apprenticeship Program. About Eric Neumann From ericneumanncomedy.com: Here is a list of things that Eric calls "accomplishments", but his Jewish mom calls "distractions from finding a wife" Hes a New York based comedian and a regular performer at New Yorks top comedy clubs, and alternative rooms. Eric has performed at various festivals including The New York Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival and Laughing Devil Festival. Eric is a regular headliner at Caroline's On Broadway, and was named "One of the hottest rising star stand-up comedians in New York" by Hollywood Radio and Television Society. Erics audio clips have been featured on Rooftop Comedy's "Best Of" collection and have aired on Sirius XM Radio, Spotify and Audible. In 2016, Eric contributed material to The Comedy Central Roast Of Rob Lowe. In 2016 & 2017, he was a semi-finalist in New York's Funniest stand up. In 2017, he opened for legends Gilbert Gottfried and Richard Lewis. His debut show Bring Your Parents To Work Day was part of the 2017 New York Comedy Festival (Sponsored by TBS) He continues to tour the country, but still with all of this stage time, Eric is yet to have a year that financially tops his Bar Mitzvah year.
About Marc Gerber Marc Gerber is a born and bred New Yorker who has been performing stand-up for almost 10 years in New York City and beyond. Equally adept at satirizing the State of the Union and the state of his own affairs, Marc has been featured on CNNs RunningMate podcast, NBC, MTV and in The New York Post, just to name a few. Marc is also a well-respected Roast Battler, a skill he developed in grade school when he needed suitably cutting retorts to kids referring to him as a Gerber Baby.
Strolling of the Heifers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the food and agriculture economy by investing the communities, businesses, farmers and food producers that support it. The Farm-to-Table Culinary Apprenticeship program, teaches nutrition and culinary skills to underemployed community members, placing them in full-time, permanent positions at local restaurants and institutional kitchens.
