Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike
A Comedy
Directed by Andy McPhee
Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play; the story focusses on middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia who share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain about their circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.
This show contains language which may not be suitable for all ages.

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL
Here's a Mother's Day gift idea for you. Treat mom to an afternoon of laughs at the "Vanya and Sonia's Mother's Day Special." The Mother's Day show starts at 2pm on May 13th, and includes a complimentary glass of champagne at intermission to celebrate all the ladies in attendance. Mom will love it, and you will too!

Immediately following the May 19 performance guests are invited to stay for a talk back with playwright, Christopher Durang, hosted by Director Andy McPhee. It is as rare opportunity to sit and chat with a Tony Award-winning playwright and ask everything you wanted to know about the writing process, the Broadway experience, the names of these characters, or anything at all!
