The beautiful harpist Sarah is married to Abraham, the charismatic conductor of the Jerusalem Philharmonic. With no children, their life revolves around their music. Then Hagar, a beautiful young Arab horn player, joins the orchestra and forms a close relationship with Sarah. Hager offers to carry the couples baby. Two rival prodigies are eventually born, one Jewish, one Arab, leading to a clash of cultures that can ultimately be reconciled only through music. Introduction by Rabbi Dana Kaplan
