wood bone mill
At height of autumn this past October, we presented the first performances of "wood bone mill." It has something to do with growing and dying, using limbs to traverse the space between; it has something to do with home; with the vertical, reverting to the horizontal, the ground, the site of nourishment and disintegration.
The body of this work can be fulfilled only in time. Its location, with the Mulberry tree--all its leaves now downed--is shaped by time, responding to time, as our own bodies do and will have to.
I In the middle of winter, the tree will be skeletal; sawdust might be replaced by snow. There will again be hot beverages, with fire-brimming structures to help warm you. We are keen to re-enter the work, the demands of time and Earth's spin shaping it anew.
We hope you'll join us ~
Sincerely, Matty and Bryan
