We would be very hard pressed to think of a more popular, more loved, more prolific and respected songwriter than Thomas Earl Petty... Tom Petty had a music career that spanned 47 years until his untimely passing October 2, 2017... And his passing was felt world-wide... Tom Petty's music, ranging from his early band Mudcrutch, to The Traveling Wilburys, and of course, to The Heartbreakers, was just plain magic... As he once said, "Music is probably the one real magic I have encountered in my life. Theres not some trick involved with it. Its pure and its real. It moves, it heals, it communicates and does all these incredible things.
As Good To Be King - A Tribute To Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, we would like to take a night at Teresa's Restaurant and invite you to share in that magic... Remaining true to the sound, tightness, and melodic structures, GTBK painstakingly recreates the presence, presentation, and atmosphere that made Tom Petty's music magic...
As a bonus, Ms. Jami D will reprise her role as Stevie Nicks from the show Wild Heart - A Tribute To Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac and perform with our very own Shane Loiselle as "Thom Petti"!
