SOLD OUT: Politics and Prose and Sixth & I Present ZADIE SMITH
Zadie Smith is both one of the world's preeminent fiction writers and a brilliant, singular essayist. She contributes regularly to The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books, and in her second essay collection, FEEL FREE, she gathers both previously published work and exciting new essays. Arranged into five sections - "In the World," "In the Audience," "In the Gallery," "On the Bookshelf," and "Feel Free" - it offers a survey of important recent events in culture and politics, as well as Smith's own life. As in her award-winning novels, which include NW, ON BEAUTY, and WHITE TEETH, Smith is by turns wry, heartfelt, indignant, and incisive - and never any less than perfect company.
Smith will be in conversation with Michel Martin, weekend host of All Things Considered.
