Abel and the Prophets
Abel & The Prophets have been one of San Franciscos House Bands in many of its legendary clubs since back when the city was exploding with music of all genres! They were initially signed with Fantasy Records and toured with other bands also from the Bay Area signed to various record labels at that time. Groups like Tower Of Power, Malo, and the Doobie Brothers, were also signed and they all toured together in their early years at one point or another. While Abel and his band later took a hiatus from touring for a few years never stopped creating music and gigging from time to time. They have been on a return to the music scene lately and the band is packing places wherever they perform. They have added a cast of special guests and friends bringing in music loaded with a mix of Rythym & Blues, Soul, Funk, and Latin Rock. Dont miss Abel & The Prophets and Friends
