Mosaic 101 MINI

Does our 4-5 hour Mosaic 101 class seem a little intimidating or too much of an initial time commitment? Mosaic 101 MINI is a 2.5-3 hour class where the student creates a 6 x 8 or 4 x 12 plaque. We give the same 101 lecture, but a slightly smaller project.

Copper Cat Studio owner and lead mosaicist, Katie gives a very detailed lecture on the basics of design, assembly, materials & grouting. All materials areincluded and feature tesserae from Katie's personal collection -glass tile, metal tiles, rocks, glass gems, shells, marble, stone,ceramic tile, stainedglass, handmade tiles and many other finds from around the country and world. Feel free to bring in pieces to add. Students have the option of returning to the studio at a later date to grout or taking dry grout home to complete the project.If you think you may want to continue on with mosaics, this is the class that you want to take!

A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class.
