Charlies On Acid

Charlie's On Acid will be playing a 3 day "Microdose Tour" with dates January 11th at The Milestone in Charlotte, NC, January 12th at The Mothlight in Asheville NC and finally January 13th at The New Brookland Tavern in Columbia SC as they join a Rockafella's reunion Show honoring the late Art Boerke "Columbia's Music Man" with Dead Cut Tree (Myrtle Beach SC) and with local host Isabelle's Gift. They are releasing their eponymous CD on iTunes as well as recording these shows for an upcoming live release.

Charlie's On Acid is a band that formed in North Carolina in 1990, playing their first show with Sugarsmack featuring Hope Nicholls at 13-13. With the group's high energy stage show and music which combines elements of rock, punk, metal and blues, they soon garnered a solid local following and began to play up and down the East Coast. They supported such national acts as White Zombie, Swervedriver, and Blind Melon among many others. In 1993, they were selected to portray Brandon Lee's band "Hangmans Joke" in the movie The Crow.
