The Drowsy Chaperone
The Drowsy Chaperone is an homage to American musicals of the Jazz Age, examining the effect musicals have on the fans who adore them.
The "Woman" in the Chair, a mousy, agoraphobic Broadway fanatic, seeking to cure her "non-specific sadness", listens to a recording of a fictional 1928 musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone. As she listens to this rare recording, she is transported directly into the musical. The characters appear in her dingy apartment, and it is transformed into an impressive Broadway set with all the glitz and glamour! Come celebrate and enjoy the show!
* Please be advised some of the humor in this show is of a mature nature and therefore we recommend appropriate audience age of 10 years old and above.
* Pre-purchased tickets will be available for pick-up at the will-call table 30 minutes prior to the show start. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door, CASH or CHECK only. Online ticket sales will end 24 hours prior to the show start.
