On January 15th join come celebrate what is great about America - a place where we can benefit from our differences and come together in our commonalities. Now, more than ever, we need to stand together, united in peace.
Folksbier Brewery, "The Absolute Best Brewery Taproom in New York" New York Magazine, is hosting a Syria Supper Club event.
A meal will be prepared by some of our new Syrian neighbors who will share their traditional cooking skills at a table full of traditional Syrian food. Folksbier Brewery is including 2 pints of hand crafted beer, made next door in their brewhouse, with your meal.
Enjoy the food, conversation and making friends with neighbors old and new. From cultural exchange to just plain fun, look forward to a great evening.
These meals present an opportunity for people who have been defined for too long as victims to share knowledge and skills unique to them, for recipients to become partners in fund-raising efforts and set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their new lives here in the USA.
Guests are encouraged to sign up to host a meal once they have enjoyed the experience of a special Syria Supper Club event.
