Our regional Burning Man community event will take place for the 5th time to provide a magical space where Burners from all over the world can come together to celebrate and reconnect.
Whether you are in touch with your deeper folly or you want to embark on a new journey to discover it, our focus is on the 10 core principles: self-expression, self-reliance, community, no commerce, leave no trace, participation, inclusion, gifting, co-operation and immediacy.

You are a dream; you are a vision; you are the vivid inspiration that guides you through the darkest nights; you are the embodiment of your own chosen folly.
On the hills above Vienna, in a derelict sanatorium, the air is charged with the timeless essence of those who first unlocked the gates to our minds and to the demons and the angels who pace our subconscious. Did Freud restlessly pace the floors of Cobenzl hurrying to an appointment? Did Reich dance naked here with his clients, loading up the powers of the Orgone? How many souls have created and destroyed, danced and laid still, screamed in agony and in lust in the lush rooms of the Luftschloss?
Join us for a night of radical creation and self-expression where the liminal walks on stage, where we shamelessly flirt with our demons, and where we wear our follies proudly on our sleeves.

Please note: EVERYONE who wants to participate in the Vienna Burning Ball needs to buy a membership, including artists, performers, DJs, organizers and volunteers!
The membership price includes entrance to the workshops in the afternoon. :-)

Our hosts support us in exchange for serving beverages for money. Please respect our agreement and do not bring any beverages.
We leave no trace: if you bring it to the Ball, take it home again. Be it art, UFOs, your little ghost or a cigarette butt: you bring it, you take it with you.
Treat the venue with due respect, and treat each other with respect. This is a private party. The stories happening at the Ball are ours alone. Please respect our no-photo policy and take pictures only in the allowed photo area.
There will be no memberships sold at the doors!
